Email Not Working #
If your email cannot send or receive messages, shows authentication errors, or fails to connect in mail apps, this guide will help you diagnose and resolve common email issues.
Email problems are usually caused by DNS configuration, mailbox settings, storage limits, or email client configuration.
Common Symptoms #
You may notice:
- Emails are not sending
- Incoming emails are missing
- Authentication failed
- Outlook or Gmail cannot connect
- Messages are delayed
- Bounce-back notifications
Step 1 — Verify Email Account Exists #
Login to cPanel.
Open:
Email → Email Accounts
Confirm:
- Email account exists
- Password is correct
- Mailbox is active
Step 2 — Check Mailbox Storage #
A full mailbox can stop sending and receiving.
Review:
Email → Email Accounts → Manage
Verify:
- Storage usage
- Quota limits
Step 3 — Verify DNS Records #
Check required email DNS records:

Step 4 — Verify Mail Client Settings #

If Webmail works:
